Hi all, I am trying to get 6.5 to run on my computer at work on a network. I found the following thread

I also have 7.0 installed on my computer and it runs fine but doesn't seem to work very well so I want to run 6.5 instead. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

This article is about a temporary problem caused by a Windows update which was later resolved by Microsoft.

This only applies to LegEasy 6 Windows which is an upgrade to DataEase 6.x specially developed to fix the problem that DFW 5.x and 6.x does not run in Windows 7 or beyond.

If you are trying to run DataEase 6.52 or lower it will not work in anything after XP.

I can see from your account that you have 7.2 this entitles you to a discounted upgrade to 8.5

We have included a 30 day trial license in your account. Just hit My Account and you will find it under Licenses.

You should be able to migrate the application without much problems from 6.5 to 8.5.

Just open it in 8.5 and choose migrate.
