DataEase DOS Question

Hi all,

I'm a bit out of touch with the practicals of DataEase DOS, but I've been asked the following:

"Will the DOS version of Dataease have an issue with Windows server 2008 64 bit edition if the files are just being shared off of there and the users are still using 32 bit workstations?"

They didn't say what version of Windows (7 or 10, I assume), but anyone know the answer?

Cheers, Adrian

Re:DataEase DOS Question

Hi Adrian.

No more or less than on a 32 bit 2008 Server in our experience.

There is always the odd problem, but overall if works great.

Re:Re:DataEase DOS Question

Thanks. The server in this case is going to be 64-bit (the workstations will be 32-bit).

Does that make a difference for DataEase DOS?

Re:Re:Re:DataEase DOS Question

Hi Again.

No. That doesn't make any difference.

All the best.
