When updating DG3 from an earlier version to version 0.18.1164 or newer, you have to make sure that your startup routines for the is updated before restarting. This is due to a change in how the underlying web framework Django have changed in how to start fcgi server from 1.6.5 to 1.7.1. The new startup need an extra parameter.

This is what you need to do:

1. Stop all services and processes
2. Upgrade DG3
3. Start DG3DS
4. Rebuild application on local computer
5. Make a change to the Start process as a service and save
6. Make the change to Start process as a service back to what is should be and save again
7. Do changes to right for the service at the server if needed
8. Deploy the application
9. Start start the rest of the DG3 services
