That message is what I get when I click the EDIT button in my own recent post! I am logged in to the forum, is there anyone from Admin that can sort this? That was my first post for some years 

OK I was signed in, I can reply to a post as you can see, but the Edit button still prevents me from editing my old post. Maybe that is by design, once posted we cannot change it only add a comment?

The edit button is just for administrators. The idea is that as people reply to a request the original post should stay the same as the replies might not make any sense. We are glad you resolved your issue.
