sorry, if that was looking like ads. simply windows 3.11 on that laptop may help to manage with an old DFD application to use it in LE9 ... excuse me< but we need that hardware for our military purposes. is it a way to get those win3.11 notebooks with DFD 4.53 English for we have severe conditions with logistics during the war. thank You.

that means we have to know whether is it possible to install original DFD 4.53 EN on that laptop with Windows 3.11 onboard or not. We have no possibility to buy both the software & hardware mentioned here in Ukraine due to the war now. Please help. Thx in advance. Glory to DataEase team !

I'm sorry but we have no knowledge of these laptops and to be honest running software from the last century is not our main priority. If you can get it to work with Windows 3.11 and DFD 4.x feel free and you don't have to worry about licenses etc, but this is not something we will look into, publish or support. Good luck!

we are sorry too. Thank You sincerely. It is still impossible to avoid IE issue with maps in CRM sample in the latest L9 ... but we shall overcome ..altogether for sure.

LE9 is using IE11 object and there is no way around that in this version.

There is a million good reasons for using IE11 over Edge/Chromium in DFW the main reason being that this is not for websites but for menus/images/functionality. If you want to use the API jsBridge() that allow you to talk to DE directly then the advantages of IE11 over Edge is enormous as Edge is asynchronous while DFW is synchronous and so is IE11.

thx. any how to , sample like that CRM without using web sites ? one more question, specific device usage case. it goes about windows application store...so is it real hope toget LE9 from windows store ? thank You very much!

THE CRM sample is not part of LE9 but DE8 and you can use websites.

It is Google Maps that has decided not to support IE11, most websites still work in IE11.

The Maps connection in the CRM sample was made a long time ago and simply to showcase how one could integrate web content in a document. 

This forum is again not a place to discuss design decisions that is ours to make but to exchange ideas and ask for help from other users about how to achieve things with DataEase.

we are very sorry again! may be it is due to our local version of English here in Ukraine not a London cockney for sure... no discussion at all. we got ms lumia 950 device with windows on board and it runs de4.53 EN like a russian missile x-101 crashed  children's hospital in Kyiv yesterday. And we've started useless dreaming about *E9 from Microsoft Store on that device asking us to windows 11 update ...see the picture
