LegEasy 6 - Major Update (Ver. 6.53.3156)

The popularity of LegEasy 6 has been overwhelming. It was released as a fix to DFW 6.x and 5.x users to allow them to run in Windows 7, but we also wanted to give it some extra "life" so we updated the looks etc. Now it is one of our most popular releases, so we are investing even further in it. The original fix was simply a recompilation of 6.52 so it would run in Windows 7. That was easier said than done, but we got there. Over the following months, a trickle of problems has come to the surface, and even though we said we wouldn't fix problems that was there in 6.52 as well, we have. Lots... There has also been quite some GPF problems. Some of them have always been there, but some has been caused by the more aggressive use of memory in Windows 7 (especially x64), so we decided to do a proper clean up which resulted in 3156. At the same time our Product department wanted to harmonise LegEasy with the new Logo program, so we have started that work to in 3156. Some of our users have also voiced that they would like to have a more neutral look on 6.53, so we will publish 3 versions with different looks, one of them with "no look" at all. This means that it will say DataEase nowhere, so it will be easier to make a distribution look like your product, rather than ours. We are also working on a Distribution license ala. Runtime/Exec again.
