DataEase Subform has been untouched since the dawn of time and it was high time to give them a brush up.

The slogan for Dataease 9 is "Simplicity and functionality" which is going back to our roots i.e it should be simple to build an application with advanced functionality as well as easy to change and adapt the functionality to your needs.

Subforms has been "hard" to build as you have had little control on how they look and what you insert. You could simply insert all or nothing from a table and you had no say in the styling of the subform as it would simply use the default styles for the form.

Readability has also been a challenge as well as look .. not nice.

To be honest the look of DataEase applications has always been challenged and a little odd and in DE9 we put a lot of effort into making both the tool and your app looking good.
