Are there any ways to locate the application files in the remote network center area rather than local PC folders?

For example, my system consists of 4 clients PCs currently. One is used as data server and other three are used as client PC.

Currently application and data are stored in main data server PC.

Bust are there any ways to define and store application files and data in remote network center rather than local main server PC in DE8?

Please help me.

You can store you app anywhere you like and open it from DataEase.

You don't have to store it on a local computer, you can of course put it on a Server etc.

If you want DataEase to use a Server location as the "My DataEase" location simply change the setting in dataease.ini on each computer.

PS! Be aware that on Windows8 etc. your dataease.ini file will be moved to a virtual store location as you are not allowed to have .ini files in the program catalogue anymore. DataEase.ini will still be located in the program catalogue too, but it will not be used.

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\DataEase\DataEase 8.0\dataease.ini

Or something like this. The path after VirtualStore is the path to your DataEase 8 installation.
