Remote user - error loading document - could not open "document"
when remote user signs in , if start up document is a single form or a single procedure everything works fine.
If the start up document is a form "invoice file"followed by a procedure "print invoice", completes the data entry into form then
returns message "can not find dataease" and exits without printing.
If the start up document is a menu, then returns the message "error loading document - could not open document"
the user menu path is set up correctly in the preference parameters.
What can be the solution ??

Could you send us a little more information on what environment you are running DataEase in, and how it is configured?

The server op system is Windows Home Basic , Pentium E5300 @ 2.60gHz, 2.00GB Ram 32bit op
Remote op system Windows 7 Pro Intel CPU @ 3.30gHz , 4GB Ram 32bit op
Wireless network
Server : C:\Dataease 8.1
C:\Users\name\my documents\my dataease

1. Do you have DataEase installed locally on both machines? You have to start DataEase on the machine where it is installed. You cannot start it from a Server installation, but the files i.e. database/app can be installed on a remote mapped drive.
2. When you say remote. How is it remote? Are you running it through any Viritualisation or VPN setup?
