Save Form : unsuccessful create

Hi DataEase,

when I open my database i receive this message :

What does it means ?

If I click OK the database seems to me works properly anyway.

How can I solve this problem ?

The message appears also using the player version.

DataEase version 8.5.0.2500

Thanks

Re:Save Form : unsuccessful create

This is due to a mix of versions.

DataEase check the version of different system tables at startup and if they are not correct it will replace/update them.

When one use different versions of 8.5 i.e. Develop in 2674 and then try to run it in a previous version DataEase will get confused and try to replace system tables that are correct for the development version etc.

We can see from the license system that it is prevalent with different versions of 8.5 in the same setup which can cause any number of problems.

There is nothing we can do with this retrospectively but from 8.6 onwards you will not be able to run an application with a variety of versions.

Re:Re:Save Form : unsuccessful create

Thanks. I installed the last version, so now I have the 8.5.1.2674 on both version (Developer and Player) but I'm still receiving the error message.

I noted also that I have 2 applications inside the same directory

There's also a 0Dataese 8 that I never created!!!  Anyway if I try to delete it I receive the following messages

What can I do now?

Many thanks in advance for your support.

Re:Re:Re:Save Form : unsuccessful create

You have now most likely ended up with the double entry problem in your RDRR.

You need to fix the RDRR manually or revert to a backup.
