Hi,

I try to run dataease 4.5 and 5.53 version in dosbox. Dosbox appear its loading but dosbox get sudden exit.I change the setting that Dataease recommended.

The DosBox sample is something we did many years ago.

Using DosBox with DataEase for DOS (DE16M) is tricky do to the memory managmenet of DE16M that include its own legacy memory manager.

This article was written as a part our our research to try to help people running DFD that ended up with us publishing LegEasy4DOS. 

We have not used or tested this for many years as it is fragile and very dependent on the environment. i.e. settings working in one version of Windows and computer might not work on another computer.

If this setup had been satisfactory we would never had spent time and money on developing L4D.
