Error 5 Duplicate dename?

DataEase won't start running a database on mapped drive.

Duplicate DEname is normally a problem with an application not having been closed properly (hanging) and then tried opened again with the same workstation.

If you get this consistently then the problem can be access rights on network drive.

You can also try to log out all users and delete the *.LAN files in the application.
