Problem with EURO in DataEase.
Problem with EURO in DataEase.
But the ??? problem is ongoing and despite all the changes to the region settings in Windows 11, I still cannot get the ??? symbol to display properly. I also cannot get it to export to a .csv file. I will keep trying different settings. I did try the Chinese suggestion but no joy.
I now have another anomaly in DE8 in that the date setting of 00/00/0000 has now reverted to 00 00 0000. The date format 00/00/0000 was working fine up until a few days ago and now it doesn?t. Any ideas?
Re:Problem with EURO in DataEase.
As you can see from the text in the orginal message, the character set on the DataEase under this website use character page 850 which doesn't have the EURO sign.
However, this can be remedied.
Open Control Panel (the good old fashioned one and not the Windows 11 Settings cr..p.
when this is done (a restart is to be recommended before one assume it doesn't work, but on my WIndows 11 it worked without a restart).
Then simply edit the RDRRxAAA.INI (the Applicaiton Settings in the Application Catalogue (you can edit the DataEase.inI to if you want to have this for all applications all the time).
858 is the PC OEM (updated) that replace the old 850 that does not have EURO sign.
The problem with no seperators in date is also in your Windows settings.
