In DG3 you will be able to have different business logic i.e. TDF files on the same dataset. So the virtualisation will go one step further.
You will also be able to build a TDF over several tables i.e. view.
You can ask what the purpose/need for this is, but in DataEase one of the strongest features is the multiview with virtual fields etc. You can now do a lot of data manipulation from virtual fields that is part of the table definition, but that is not always ideal for other "views" on the same data.
