when i design dql's for reports using different computers. my fonts show the view body /view header /view footer text in different font sizes. running the same dql on different computers for output also displays differently. one win7 computer uses small font desktop. other win7 computer uses large font desktop. how can i make design viewer consistent with multiple computers? how can i make the output dql use same font output? is there any system preference setting ? is there a window setting that is used ?

The problem here is straight forward.

DE8 use the new default font for Windows 7/8 which is SegoeUI. If a workstation doesn't have this font, Windows will default to the "closest" font which is a dubious affair.

DE8 does not install the default font, but DE8.5 does. So the simple fix here is simply to install DE8.5. You don't have to use it, as the font will work in all Windows applications.
