DQL Procedure does not update layout after re-compile in 8.5
I'm currently busy in De8.5 creating procedures.
when I add or remove fields and check the script it does not ask me if I want to change the layout? Thus it does not add or remove the fields!
Attach the screenshot in 8 and it does not give the same message / choice in 8.5
Please Assist

We did an attempt in DE8.2 (Late) I think to fix QBM and DQL.
It is sadly still a little in limbo as we have focused on replacing it rather than fixing it as it is "unfixable".
However, the way it work now is that you will get an automated layout the first compilation and after that you can insert the fields with F10 (Field). In your layout.
You can now insert anything you have in the list records with F10.
There is also a switch in DataEase.ini to revert to "Old Style" Procedures i.e. forced layout change.

Remember that in Windows 8 etc, dataease.ini is moved to virtualstore, so it won't help to change in in the DataEase Application Catalogue, you need to change the one that is stored in the VirtualStore.
