Deleting document with a (double quote) in the name
Hi there,
I named a form using a double quote, now I am trying to delete it (it should not have that name) and I get the attached error.

DataEase and " is very ticklish...
We couldn't create a form with " in it at first, but realised that you could if you did save as new.
It has been a "weakness" in DataEase that they from the start went to far in allowing nationalisation and humanisation of code ;-)
National characters and extended characters has reaped havoc in many an application.
We can understand the initial idea, but it is not very far sighted when you use different decimal separators, allow national character sets etc.
Anyhow, that is all in the past.
Problem with " in a document name/table name is of course that DataEase use "" to mark a string so when you include it in the name it will end the name early.
Anyhow, we gather this table was created by a mistake and as it doesn't work you want to remove it.
The easiest way is simply to remove it "manually" - See above.
If you have created a table to you need to remove that from your RDRR with Hexedit.
