Form Inconsistency errors

Hi hope someone can help but ever since we have run DataEase using LegEasy4DOS we keep getting form is inconsistent messages. See attached messages. Never got these messages before we used LegEasy4DOS any idea what that could be? Reorganising the database fixes it.

Yes. The problem is that one or more users is set up not to run as multiuser.

THe DEPATH for all users need to be set and point at the same catalog containing denetwrk.ovl and configur.dat.

The way you check if the system is set up with correct networking/multi-user is to go to the 7. System Administration menu in the DataEase Main Menu

Then the 2.Define Configuration menu.

Choose 1. APplication Configuration.
click page down 5 times till you get to last page.

Check here that the network operating system is LAN Manger and that each user has a unique Computer Name.

To test if the locking actually work open a FORM in two different sessions and go to the first or last record and do a change in one of them and then save and then do the same change in the other (both have to be open on the same record before you save). The last one should then come up with a "Data is Change since it was read message!"  This show that the opportunistic locking model works.
