Q. What is an affiliate program?
A. An affiliate program allows you to make money by referring customers from your website to ours. You do this by placing trackable links on your site. Every time a customer you've referred to us makes a purchase, you earn commission. It's that easy!
Q. What's in it for me, my site, and my visitors?
A. As an affiliate, you can add value and content to your site with special promotions from DataEase suite of products. You get to enjoy the benefit of earning money with little work and your visitors will thank you for introducing them to our product line.
Q. Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?
A. No! It's absolutely free to join. Plus, there is no minimum sales requirement and you can cancel at any time.
Q. I operate more than one web site. Can I still be an Affiliate?
A. Yes. You can have multiple sites as an Affiliate. You will have one Affiliate account with us that will include all of your sites. You can track the progress of each of your sites and be paid with only one commission check.
Q. How do I sign up?
A. First, you must fill out our affiliate application and agree to the terms of our Affiliate Agreement. Once you've submitted your application, we will contact you soon (via e-mail) with easy-to-follow information on how to get started and create links on your site!
Q. Is my web site eligible to become an Affiliate?
A. Most sites qualify for participation in our program. Anyone may submit an application, but we reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a membership at any time if we feel the site contains objectionable material.
Q. How do I create links?
A. We have an automatic tag generator that creates HTML for you to simply cut and paste into your web site. It's so easy to use even beginners can create links in seconds. You don't even need to know HTML!
Q. Can I use DataEase's content on my site?
A. Yes, you can use logos, graphics, photos and product descriptions.
Q. How do I know how much I've sold and earned?
A. You can access reports, which are updated daily, that provide information on impressions, click-throughs, orders, shipments, and commissions earned.
Q. How often do I get paid?
A. Commission checks are cut in every calendar month where you have earned more than $50.00 in commissions.
Q. What about product returns?
A. If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.
Q. How will you know that the orders came from my site?
A. We use IDevAffiliate, an affiliate tracking software. It uses a combination of cookies, IP tracking and the tracking of various factors from the shopping cart (customer number e.t.c) to ensure that you get the credit for all the sales you send.
Q. What if someone comes through my link and doesn't buy until later?
A. The tracking is set for 1 year. This means that if someone comes to my site from your affiliate link in January, has a look around, but then does not come back to buy something until the following December, you will still get credit for this sale!
Q. How will I be paid?
A. We make all commission payments through PayPal. Signing up for PayPal takes a few minutes.
